Group ITSM Lead (IT Delivery management)

Summary

The Delivery Manager is the role with mandatory deep IT technical background and with preferred previous hands-on experience in the field of IT or IT Infrastructure. Delivery Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of IT projects or IT part of business projects where assigned.
Is responsible for driving and supporting the IT teams to plan and execute the Build, Release and Test of all future features on the new or changed IT service.
This role acts as a single-point-of-contact for the internal customer to “IT” department within Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an assigned team to deliver defined technology projects or complex IT services of the business projects on time and within budget and quality.
  • Work with the teams to determine necessary activities to successfully deliver projects throughout the given service or function
  • Ensure that the right type and number of resources and Vendors that are required to fulfill the planned projects are available and in place together with responsible team managers.
  • Have enough level of understanding of the internal customer’s business to be able to proactively act on any situation that may occur in the portfolio of services.
  • Closely collaborate with IT Service Owners
  • Understand the FEG project delivery methodology
  • Be responsible for financial management, reporting of related activities
  • Help to optimize the IT delivery process
  • Juggle multiple and conflicting priorities in a timely and sensitive way, with full transparency to the FEG IT management
  • Manage stakeholders expectations and helping them understand resource constraints and prioritization
  • Communicate and present the progress of assigned activities

Functions
  • Serve as an escalation point within assigned activities
  • Monitor and manage end-to-end delivery of IT programs and projects
  • Enforce standard methodologies, processes and tools
  • Provide leadership and direction to IT project team members
  • Evaluate and identify potential redundant applications, infrastructure and tools

Analytical/Decision-Making Responsibilities:
  • Identify, manage and resolve complex issues, preventing escalations, where possible
  • Manage, negotiate and resolve project risks
  • Create an open, honest, accountable and collaborative team environment

We Require

  • High school education
  • At least 5 year experience in a similar position or Project Manager/Delivery Manager
  • At least 2 years hands-on technical experience
  • Deep technical background – VMW, Cloud, Networking, DC management, Postgre DB, Cybersecurity
  • PMI or Prince certification
  • Certification in Agile, Scrum
  • Fluency in Czech/Slovak language
  • Knowledge of English language at least B2 level
  • Expert knowledge of delivery management
  • Deep knowledge of IT, IT infrastructure or Cybersecurity
  • Hands-on experience in IT field
  • Good knowledge of ITSM processes
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Very good presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence is a plus
