Group System Administrator - Windows

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Group System Administrator, who will ensure the functionality, security and stability of MS Windows enterprise servers, computers and applications. Sets server and system parameters in line with corporate policy. Monitors the operation of corporate systems and prevents their downtime. Proposes changes to corporate servers and systems according to company management requirements and current traffic requirements. Implements security for entrusted systems.

Responsibilities

  • Active Directory management and development
  • Responsibility for our MS Windows platform, it’s standardization and automation
  • Operating systems responsibility (installation, documentation, operation, backup, security, monitoring, patching etc.)
  • Development, implementation and management of the security solutions
  • Supporting company business systems
  • Acting as 2nd and 3rd level of support for other teams
  • Training of colleagues and users
  • Performing additional operations as instructed by the primary and secondary supervisor.

We Require

  • Experience in IT Infrastructure Administration (3 years)
  • Experience integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions
  • Ability to provide technical system solutions
  • Experience planning and developing support processes and adhering to best practices
  • Operational/engineering background in the infrastructure field
  • Knowledge of Network, Firewall, Security, Storage (NAS/SAN/object), x86 server HW, Virtualization (VMware) principles and best practices is a plus
  • Overview about infrastructure automation, deployment and configuration management (Ansible, CloudForms, Rundeck) is a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fluency in Czech/Slovak & English
